Memory Placemaking is a commitment to designing environments that honor the past, ground the present, and leave meaningful traces for the future. 1. Space is Geometry; Place is Memory
Physical dimensions alone do not create architecture. Space becomes a place only when it is infused with human experience, emotion, and temporal resonance. Every design must transcend functional efficiency to cultivate personal and collective belonging.
2. Honor the Palimpsest
Cities and landscapes are layered parchments written on, erased, and rewritten over time. We reject the practice of tabula rasa. Every project must read, respect, and engage the historical, cultural, and material traces already present on a site before introducing a new layer.

Memory is rarely encoded through sight alone. It lives in the acoustic reverberation of a hall, the cool tactile touch of natural stone, the scent of timber, and the atmospheric transition of light. We construct spaces that engage the entire sensory human presence.
